Return values

A value describing the current state of the file if the function is successful; if the file cannot be accessed the return value is -1.

Parameters

sFile

Path and name of the file.

Remarks

The function returns a combination of the following flags to describe the state of the file.

FILE_NORMAL = 0x00

Normal file.

FILE_READONLY = 0x01

File is read only.

FILE_HIDDEN = 0x02

File is hidden.

FILE_SYSTEM = 0x04

File is a system file.

FILE_VOLUME = 0x08

File is a volume.

FILE_DIR = 0x10

File is a directory.

FILE_ARCHIV = 0x20

File have the archive bit set.
