Intellipool Network Monitor 3.3 Beta is out of the cage and can be downloaded by registered customers from our customer portal.

The new INM beta contains _allot_ of improvements , everything from fundamental performance improvements, to user interface tweaks. It also contains a laundry list of new features, many features that you have asked us to implement in our wish list forum.

- Reports, remade from scratch, needs to be experienced. To good to be described in a blog post.

- Continuing the tradition of making performance improvements for each new version, we have made several improvements to INM 3.3 that will lower memory & CPU usage. Better performance means more testing, less chance for false alarms and more precise statistical data gathered.

- We have also taken the decision to abandon the old interface layout optimized for 800x600 px and moved on to a layout geared towards 1024 in width or higher.

- Another new addition is the WMI query class in the Lua API , it will enable you to make quite snazzy WQL queries and do all sorts of tricks with the results. And dont you just love us for not forcing you to use VB to do the WMI queries. wink.gif

- We have added a management console in INM 3.3 as well, it includes a number of commands for common administrator tasks. For example during maintenance its practical to shutdown the login for normal users, this is one thing you can do with the console and a single command. A command line is superior to a point and click interface in some situations and thats why we implemented it in INM 3.3. You will find the consol on the system admin page.

- Added support to monitor Red Hat Enterprise Server R5.

This is just a few things, from a very long list of improvements. I hope that you will find the new beta interesting, there is allot of goodies in it, in a few weeks it will be final and ready for production.

PS. Jerry, if you are reading this, we added your request for an option to restart at the top of the file each test in the Log file monitor. DS

Am I missing something? I did a fresh install and can not even log in. What is the default username and password? I looked in the help docs and can't find it anywhere!
